Paper Roll Craft

Members were taught how to roll newspapers and create objects using these rolls by Sriranjini Ma'am. Who would have imagined the shapes and objects that students have come up with? It is delightful to see students' creativity all triggered to make these beautiful pieces of art. And yes, the uses are endless.

Pebble Painting

Students enjoyed painting on pebbles they collected. Nikhita of class 7D writes :

A unique way of combining nature and artistic styles is through pebble painting. First, we collected a pebble or a stone and thoroughly washed it. Now, the real fun began! We took out our acrylic and fabric paints and began to paint a masterpiece. The results were amazing! Filled with colours, beautiful and bright, we painted various things like scenery of nature, Warli art, galaxies and even abstract designs.
This painted pebble can be used as a centerpiece or even as a paperweight. If we join hands, we can also paint many pebbles and place them under trees as a decoration. We sat in the amphitheater while painting and so our surrounding nature, warm sunbeams and cool breeze really helped us calm down and feel peaceful.

Our teacher also took many photos of us painting the pebbles. We should encourage pebble painting everywhere to further beautify our environment. We loved pebble painting and enjoyed it a lot. This experience was very memorable and we hope to try it again. Last but not least, we would like to thank our Be2 Aware teacher for introducing us to the magic of pebble painting.

Stories by Members

Spinning a story around Nature is fun.We have two of our members spinning their story in Nature.

Life around  Amruthaballi Climber

As the sun's sweltering rays reached the Earth and the warm air blew, there began the first summer morning. The leaves of the Climber were lush green and were glittering in the rays. Soon, the buzzing sound of honey bees was heard. The bees ate parts of the leaves and sucked nectar from the flowers and satisfied their hunger. This was a mini eco system formed.

Many people said that its leaves contained a medicinal value, which can treat illness!

Coconut Tree near my House
The tree which grew near my house was very healthy. But now the coconut tree is not getting water and sunlight.
First, some ants started moving on it and started living in the tree. Then, suddenly one day three boys were passing by the tree and saw some birds living in it. They wanted to disturb the birds.
One day ,a boy named Raj broke their eggs on the floor. Adithya made a hole in the tree and some ants died .Then Harshith plucked leaves and threw it in the wind.
That moment a girl who was Adithya's best friend came towards them, and that girl was "ME" .  Adithya and his friends got scared to see me .They thought that I will scold and complain to their parents.
Seeing them I got very furious and started making them understand how trees are important for our ecosystem, and they should not trouble the poor birds. If they want to play with birds they should not kill the tree.
After realizing their mistake, they decided to come with me to my garden. We decided to grow a new plant in my garden and played for sometime.
As time passed, the tree grew old and we took some pictures with the tree. We cherish these pictures.
This incident is my best memory of childhood days.
