Paper Roll Craft

Members were taught how to roll newspapers and create objects using these rolls by Sriranjini Ma'am. Who would have imagined the shapes and objects that students have come up with? It is delightful to see students' creativity all triggered to make these beautiful pieces of art. And yes, the uses are endless.

Pebble Painting

Students enjoyed painting on pebbles they collected. Nikhita of class 7D writes :

A unique way of combining nature and artistic styles is through pebble painting. First, we collected a pebble or a stone and thoroughly washed it. Now, the real fun began! We took out our acrylic and fabric paints and began to paint a masterpiece. The results were amazing! Filled with colours, beautiful and bright, we painted various things like scenery of nature, Warli art, galaxies and even abstract designs.
This painted pebble can be used as a centerpiece or even as a paperweight. If we join hands, we can also paint many pebbles and place them under trees as a decoration. We sat in the amphitheater while painting and so our surrounding nature, warm sunbeams and cool breeze really helped us calm down and feel peaceful.

Our teacher also took many photos of us painting the pebbles. We should encourage pebble painting everywhere to further beautify our environment. We loved pebble painting and enjoyed it a lot. This experience was very memorable and we hope to try it again. Last but not least, we would like to thank our Be2 Aware teacher for introducing us to the magic of pebble painting.
