Students were thrilled to walk through the shrub forest adjacent to the school.Madhusudhan showed the students spittle bug,harvester ants'nest,butterflies and explained the wonderful mechanisms of Nature.He showed bird rings that are manufactured and labelled only in Sweden and available only in Mumbai's Natural Society.The unique numbered rings are used to identify birds and tehir migration patterns.The ringed birds are tracked and all information is maintained in the database.
Overall,a very interesting session evident from the fact that students were reluctant to leave.

It was a real good session. Explored so much of biodiversity. One of the boys compared the colours of Karnataka state flag to the Common Jezebel butterfly. Best way to remember the name and the butterfly. Am going to use this analogy. My thanks to that little fellow.
